Robert's repertory of experience as a vocalist (primarily baritone) is substantial, even aside from its rich integration into his liturgical work. For all four years of his undergraduate career, Robert was a member of the Hofstra University Chorale and Chamber Choir, where he was the recipient of many solos — varying in range from tenor to bass II. For his senior year, Robert also sung as the bass vocalist in the Hofstra Vocal Jazz Quartet and, for the first few years of his studies at Hofstra University, Robert took lessons/courses in voice and diction with Professor Donna Balson. One can also rewind the clock back to Robert's earliest experiences in high-school, where he was chosen as one of a hundred students to sing as part of the prestigious National Association for Music Education (NAfME) All-Nationals Mixed Choir in addition to the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) All-State Mixed Chorus.
As of Fall 2022, Robert is an active part of C4: The Choral Composer-Conductor Collective, which performs throughout Manhattan several times per year.
Robert retains a professional membership in American Choral Directors Association (ACDA).
